Keeping warm in the footy stands this winter!

Do you love the roar of the crowd and getting out amongst it at the weekend to support your team or even if you just tag along with your boyfriend or hubby to spend some quality time together? Either way we all know that it can get cold in those stands.

Watching those strapping young lads of the AFL, League or Union can only keep you warm for so long!

So this week we have some tips to keep warm without shunning your teams colours or your boyfriends if your just not that into it!

The first thing to do is wear something against your skin that will pull away the moisture, thermals are great for this. For the next layer wear something warm. Think wool or pashmina. They are both lightweight but create warmth and are fashionable for those after game drinks or dinner.

The next layer is something to keep out the wind – a wind jacket in your teams colours will do the trick and you complete the outfit with a scarf or pashmina to keep your warm neck. A pashmina will also be a great accessory when you loose the wind jacket afterwards.
